Barbie Holton creates artistry in wood with her turnings.  She expresses her love of wood through one-of-a-kind artwork.  Though working primarily with mesquite wood and turquoise, other materials find their way into the repertoire.  Some  of her  wood pieces are created with carving techniques or  finished with pyrography and coloring.  The beauty of the wood with its special characteristics is always a primary focus.
